Testing (Under)Ground
[Harvard Square Brattle Tunnel: Cambridge, MA]
Building upon experimental expression associated to the underground arts, Testing (Under)ground repurposes brattle tunnel in Harvard Square, into a public gathering space. The design’s foundation engages with the history and former use of the site, while the program projects a future, by enabling a collective testing ground and exhibition space for Harvard affiliates, Cambridge locals and tourists to collaborate on common themes, as a way of building community within and beyond Harvard Square.
